Nintendo is set to host two Direct presentations next week. The first is a 30-minute "The Legend of Zelda" 40th Anniversary Direct, scheduled for 10:00 PM Beijing Time on September 8. We may see information about the rumored Nintendo Switch 2 special edition based on the series' 40th anniversary, which leaked a few weeks ago, as well as the release date for "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake."
The second Direct is scheduled for 10:00 PM on September 9 and will last approximately 45 minutes. Immediately following the presentation, a Nintendo Treehouse Live stream will begin, showcasing gameplay demos for some of the titles featured in the Nintendo Direct.
"The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake" is one of the few games in 2026 without a confirmed release date yet. With the September and October release schedules already packed, it's almost certain to launch in November, going head-to-head with Rockstar's "GTA 6." Moreover, this epic gaming showdown is likely to be officially confirmed next week.
