Cyberleek, the group behind the recent leak of GTA 6 gameplay footage, has burned its holdings of the virtual crypto token $CYBERLEEK, totaling 270 million tokens worth approximately $6.5 million.
This appears to be a response to recent user investigations, which revealed that the token's creator controlled more than a quarter of the total supply. There were suspicions that the hackers were artificially inflating the cryptocurrency's price using the leaked content, planning to sell off their own holdings at the peak and crash the market, leaving buyers with heavy losses.
But Cyberleek seems to have other plans. Notably, the market cap of this crypto token is still growing and has now surpassed $45 million.
