The high-performance microSD Ex storage card, officially titled "microSD Express Card for Nintendo Switch 2," is a high-speed storage solution designed specifically for the Switch 2. The current 256GB version is produced by Samsung and SanDisk. As of this writing, the official price for the 256GB version in Japan has slightly increased to 8,980 yen.
According to listings on Amazon Japan and Rakuten, the 512GB version of the high-performance microSD Ex storage card is priced at a steep 28,980 yen. Players who prioritize performance over cost may want to keep an eye on this release.
