Recently, Amazon Games Studios shared new concept art for "Tomb Raider: Ruins of Atlantis," featuring a magnificent underwater ancient Greek temple nestled among mountains, complete with waterfalls and ruins, delivering stunning visuals. The official team stated that more in-game footage will be released in the future.
After the concept art was revealed, many players praised the artistic design of the Greek tomb scenes, remarking on the exceptional environmental storytelling of the ruins. Some also compared the scene to Lara's character model, suggesting that while the environmental art is excellent, Lara's model does not quite reach the same level of quality.
"Tomb Raider: Ruins of Atlantis" is a modern reinterpretation of the original 1996 "Tomb Raider," built using Unreal Engine 5. The main storyline revolves around fragments of the artifact "Scion," as Lara travels through Peru, Greece, Egypt, and mysterious Mediterranean islands to uncover the long-lost secrets of Atlantis. The game retains the series' signature puzzle-solving, tomb exploration, and thrilling combat, while introducing new features such as a skill tree, crafting system, and a focus-based slow-motion combat mechanic. Trap and puzzle difficulty returns to the style of earlier titles, with reduced hand-holding and excessive hints.
