All signs suggest that Nintendo intends to adopt this strategy, launching one of its most anticipated games of the year. Nintendo's willingness to follow its own path stems from its long-standing efforts—continuously engaging its fanbase and constantly surprising consumers.
Recently, well-known leaker NateTheHate revealed that he expects Nintendo to release The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake during the same week as GTA 6. According to him, the remake will either launch in the first week of November or directly compete with GTA 6 in the third week of November.
NateTheHate stated, "Regarding my estimated release date for Ocarina of Time, it will either be the first week of November or the same week as GTA 6's release."
NateTheHate emphasized that Nintendo is not afraid to go head-to-head with Rockstar this fall, even if GTA 6's sales are likely to surpass those of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake. Historical data shows that the last two months of the year are always a peak season for Nintendo's software sales.
