The critically acclaimed Onimusha: Way of the Sword recently launched a free DLC in collaboration with the popular hunting game Monster Hunter Rise. This DLC introduces exclusive outfits for the game's two main characters—Lady Shizuka (Shizuka Gozen) and Izumo no Okuni—inspired by Hinoa the Quest Maiden and Minoto the Canteen Manager from Monster Hunter Rise.
Players can change the above outfits by selecting "Change Outfit" from the "Demon-Breaking Mirror" menu in-game. This feature will be gradually unlocked as you progress through the game.
To celebrate the launch of this DLC, an official crossover manga has also been released. The story follows Hinoa and Minoto as they embark on a fun cross-over adventure in the Kyoto setting of Onimusha. Titled "Onimusha is Too Extreme!", the three-chapter manga is now available to read on the official website and social media channels.
Additionally, another manga series, "Shizuka and Okuni Visit!", will be released on September 8, depicting cute interactions between the characters.
This DLC is available for free, and players can access the above content without any additional payment.
