The free demo for the Roguelite RPG "Endure Life Dungeon" will launch on Steam on September 7 at 16:00. Each save slot allows for up to 5 hours of cumulative playtime, and equipment and progress earned during the demo will carry over to the full version.
Developed by Anonymous Works and published by syn Sophia, this title follows four adventurers who, after being expelled from the royal capital, venture into the wastelands to explore dungeons and gradually uncover secrets hidden by the church. Players can take turns controlling a Hunter, Warrior, Blacksmith, and Mage, managing limited stamina as they explore, fight, and gather resources before attempting to return to base.
The four characters have different "personalities," and the objectives required to proceed to the next floor change accordingly. The Hunter must open all chests on the current floor, the Warrior needs to defeat all enemies, the Blacksmith must collect all ores and weapons, and the Mage is required to gather all natural resources. Players need to choose the appropriate character based on the target materials and dungeon conditions, rather than always advancing with the same person.
With each floor cleared, players can choose one ability from a random selection and combine it with skills attached to their equipment, gradually forming a unique build for that run. Skills may provide buffs or come with negative effects; equipment brought back to the base can be further enhanced or have additional effects applied for future explorations. The game features mouse controls and offers both automatic and manual operation modes.
In addition to a brief tutorial, the demo allows players to enter the dungeon multiple times to experiment with different characters, equipment, and skill combinations. Once a single save file accumulates 5 hours of playtime, the current exploration will not be interrupted immediately; after completing that run, players can still use the base facilities, and the save data will be retained.
"Endure Life Dungeon" supports Windows and macOS and offers multiple languages, including Simplified Chinese. The game is scheduled to participate in the "Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition" from October 19 to 26. The full version is set for release on October 27, with a standard price of $10, though actual pricing may vary by region.
