"RyzaChat: Craft Your Own Summer Fantasy Story with AI and Ryza," developed by SpiralAI, officially launched its international version on September 9, arriving on iOS and Android platforms with support for Traditional Chinese, Japanese, English, and other languages. The game was previously released in Japan on August 25.
This title is a free-form narrative chat RPG set in the world of the "Atelier Ryza" series. Players will adventure with Ryza on Kurken Island, driving travel, combat, and synthesis through their own typed dialogue rather than selecting actions from preset commands or options.
The in-game system not only facilitates interactions between Ryza and the player but also describes the surrounding environment, determines the outcomes of actions, and manages combat, inventory, and quest progress behind the scenes. Players' spontaneous ideas can directly influence the storyline, and even failed actions may be retained as part of the character's experiences, allowing the adventure to continue evolving.
A pre-launch user survey revealed that 62.9% of respondents were highly eager and wanted to experience the game as soon as possible, while 24.7% were very interested but had some concerns, bringing the combined total to 87.6%. Respondents were most interested in Ryza's voice, expressions, and movements (74.5%), followed by expectations for dialogue and atmosphere consistent with the character's style (72.0%), and a desire to experience personal stories without a predetermined script (59.1%).
Regarding future plans, 74.5% of respondents expressed a desire to embark on adventures with characters such as Cloe and Lento, 72.0% looked forward to limited-time quests tied to seasons and events, and 58.9% hoped for the addition of new areas and storylines. The international version is currently available on iOS and Android platforms.
