Indie game developer Bedtime Digital Games is pleased to formally introduce its Norse mythology-themed co-op action Roguelite, Chosen by Odin, to Chinese players and media friends.

The game's Steam store page is now live, supporting offline single-player and online co-op for up to 3 players.

You play as a fallen Viking warrior. Odin brings your soul to Valhalla, grants you armor and divine power as a new vessel, and entrusts you with an almost impossible mission: delve into the Nine Realms to hunt down cultists attempting to trigger Ragnarok.

You can embark on the journey alone or invite two companions to join you.

Each time you enter a realm, players must harness divine power, roll the "Dice of Fate" that affects the entire team's growth, explore and battle in the ever-changing realms, craft your unique build, and complete missions before being overwhelmed by enemy hordes, extracting with resources.

Chosen by Odin is now available on Steam. Welcome to add the game to your wishlist.

Odin has chosen you, but this is not a lonely expedition

The Nine Realms are heading towards Ragnarok.

Dangers come not only from cultists but also from gathering monsters, increasingly unstable realms, and enemy hordes that become harder to resist.

Fortunately, you don't have to face it all alone. Chosen by Odin supports online co-op for up to 3 players.

You and your companions can choose warriors with different combat styles: some throw axes to create chaos among enemy ranks; others raise shields to block incoming monster waves head-on; while others unleash devastating spells, shrouding the entire battlefield in divine power.

Each warrior possesses unique abilities, blessings, and growth paths. You can build completely different characters, find your respective roles, and let different builds synergize in combat.

Of course, if you prefer to challenge alone, you can fully experience the single-player mode. Regardless of your choice, the mission entrusted by Odin will not become any easier.

The dice of fate are cast, and your choices will determine the team's destiny

If divine power determines how you fight, then the "Dice of Fate" determines the direction of your journey. The "Dice of Fate" is the core gameplay mechanic of Chosen by Odin and one of the most important variables in every expedition.

Before setting out, you can personally forge your Dice of Fate in Valhalla, freely adjust your dice bag configuration, and bring the selected dice into your next adventure.

Whenever the blessing draft phase begins, all Dice of Fate carried by the team are rolled onto the table simultaneously. The dice will enhance the shared blessing pool, increase blessing levels, and change the growth opportunities presented to everyone in various ways.

Afterward, team members will take turns choosing blessings, allowing their individual builds to gradually take shape.

The blessing enhanced by the dice before you might perfectly complement your core abilities, or it might prove even more powerful in the hands of another companion. Do you take it now, or leave the opportunity for your teammate?

Chosen by Odin aims to make every blessing draft a true team discussion. The Fate Dice provide the results, but how to use them is still decided collectively by you.

Take One More Step Forward, or Leave with the Loot?

Each time you step into a realm, you will encounter different map changes, side events, hidden rewards, enemy combinations, and boss challenges.

Completing the main quest opens the path for extraction, but you can also temporarily deviate from the goal to continue searching for undiscovered resources deep within the map. The longer you explore, the richer the loot you can take away; meanwhile, enemy hordes will become increasingly difficult to handle.

Perhaps the next corner hides a key blessing that changes your build, or perhaps staying longer will only cause the team to lose its last retreat. Should you take one more step forward? There is no always-correct answer to this question.

You need to observe your teammates' status, judge whether the current build is sufficient for the next battle, and then decide whether to continue adventuring or withdraw in time before the realm completely falls.

Defeating enemies is important, but true warriors must bring the won resources back to Valhalla alive.

Return to Valhalla, Prepare for the Next Expedition

Returning to Valhalla does not mean the adventure is over.

You can use the resources brought back to forge new Dice of Fate, adjust your dice bag, increase your Soul Level, and permanently enhance your warriors' attributes and abilities.

As more dice, blessings, and enhancement paths are gradually unlocked, each new run allows you to try different build strategies. Perhaps this time, you'll focus on divine spells to deal massive area damage; next time, you might prioritize defense and control to shield your allies from the most dangerous foes.

Once ready, new realms, harsher missions, and more powerful bosses await. Each return to Valhalla is to prepare for another expedition with greater strength.
