According to insider NateTheHate, a new Ori game is currently in development, but he is unsure if this new title will be showcased at the Gamescom Opening Night Live.
Recently, rumors have also suggested that Xbox will announce a "major first-party game," leading players to speculate whether this is Ori 3.
Ori series developer Moon Studios is currently fully focused on developing the official 1.0 release of No Rest for the Wicked. Moon Studios CEO Thomas Mahler has responded to these rumors, hinting that Moon Studios may not be involved in the project. He also stated that the team intends to buy back the IP.
