ONE-NETBOOK and its Japanese distributor, Sky, showcased several handheld consoles at Tokyo Game Show 2026, allowing attendees to experience the products through game demos. CEO Wang Lin, who was present, also discussed the impact of component price hikes and the company's future product direction.
The OneXPlayer 3 on display features an 8.8-inch OLED screen, with detachable controllers on both sides and a detachable keyboard that doubles as a protective cover. It is powered by the Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor, with a listed body weight of approximately 779 grams.
The OneXPlayer X2 Mini, which uses the same processor and screen, has a listed weight of approximately 729 grams. The OneXPlayer X2 Mini Pro, with a similar appearance and screen size, uses an AMD processor and has a listed weight of approximately 719 grams. Another model, the OneXFly APEX, is typically used while connected to power, but can be used portably with an optional detachable external battery; the battery can also serve as a stand.
Discussing the price increases of components like memory, Wang Lin stated that the company's products are currently selling well and have not been significantly affected. Takuro Yamada from Sky added that products with newer processors have higher prices, which previously put pressure on sales volume. He mentioned that the OneXPlayer 3 is priced at 298,000 yen in Japan and achieved approximately 540 million yen in sales on a US crowdfunding platform.
As for the handheld interface, Wang Lin believes the company's differentiation is also reflected in features such as haptic feedback on the controllers. Yamada noted that ONE-NETBOOK products can use either their proprietary interface or Windows' Xbox mode. Wang Lin also added that the company will choose between Intel or AMD processors based on user and market demands, and will continue to focus on Windows devices in the future.
Regarding future products, Wang Lin stated that the company aims to continue improving performance while reducing device size.
