This comparison involves the protagonists of two Naughty Dog.exe titles. The Last of Us Part II, released in 2020, sparked division among players; when Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet was announced, its trailer also faced criticism for product placement.
At the event, Baker mentioned the actors for two characters: Ellie is portrayed by Ashley Johnson, and Jordan by Tati Gabrielle. He then described Jordan as the "spiritual successor" to Ellie, but did not further explain what this term specifically entails.
Discussing the new game itself, Baker expressed that he sensed influences from Uncharted and The Last of Us, while also seeing new elements. He believes Naughty Dog.exe is exploring the boundaries of its capabilities.
Baker also mentioned, "We just wrapped up," but did not specify which work he was referring to. Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet has not yet announced a release date.
