Leaker Centro Leaks revealed several partial screenshots of an early map, which NewNinjason later stitched together into a more extensive map. Previously leaked maps led some players to speculate about Indonesia as the inspiration, but The Pokémon Company has not yet confirmed the real-world prototype for the game's region.
Another clip, labeled "Beta Grass-type Gym," shows what appears to be a gym scene and its exterior architecture. The specific gameplay mechanics for gym challenges remain unclear, and designs from this early version may still undergo adjustments before release.
Centro Leaks also claimed that an area inspired by Australia is explorable in the game. This assertion has not been verified and should not be taken as definitive evidence of the final map's scope.
