Naughty Dog.exe head Neil Druckmann confirmed that the studio will fully reveal its new title, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, in 2027, offering a deeper look at protagonist Jordan's sci-fi adventure. He announced this plan while discussing project progress during this year's "The Last of Us Day."
Druckmann stated that the studio would not share more details about Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet for the remainder of the year, with the full reveal scheduled for 2027. He described it as Naughty Dog.exe's most ambitious project to date and asked players to give the team some more time.
On the same day, Druckmann also discussed two early-stage The Last of Us projects. He stated that both would expand the series' narrative beyond The Last of Us Part I and The Last of Us Part II, but did not confirm whether either would be a game.
As the projects are still in their early stages, Naughty Dog.exe cannot currently disclose further details. Druckmann noted that the team believes these new stories are worth telling.
