Bushiroad has revealed the contents of the promotional cards for the first "Sleeves & Card Set" of the official Palworld trading card game. As the first official accessory for this card game, the set will be released on October 16 and includes card sleeves and ten promotional cards.
The set includes 75 card sleeves featuring the Pal Sphere design. The ten promotional cards feature Cattiva, Depresso, Chillet, Quivern, and Grizzbolt, with two cards for each theme. Two of these will be randomly replaced with full-art OSR versions; Bushiroad has not yet confirmed whether duplicate OSR cards may appear in a single set.
This accessory was originally scheduled for release on October 2 but was delayed by two weeks. Previously, booster boxes from the card game's first series, "Dawn of Palpagos," sold out quickly at many retailers, with some resellers offering them at prices far above the suggested retail price.
In response to stock shortages, Bushiroad stated in late August that it is replenishing stores with first-print booster boxes and plans to release a second edition of "Dawn of Palpagos." The second edition cards are essentially identical to the first print, distinguished only by the Roman numeral "II" added to the corner near the copyright information, with shipments expected in late October.
Bushiroad and Pocketpair also confirmed that the second expansion series for the card game, "Awakening of Legends," will be released on October 30, adding Pals such as Chillet Ignis and Jetragon, along with the "Legend" trait. Powerful Pal cards with this trait can only have one copy placed in the player's base at any given time.
