The survival game UnReal World is scheduled to receive an update this October, adding a clothing crafting feature. Some complex garments may take several days to complete.
UnReal World was released in 1992 and continues to receive updates to this day. Recognized as the first open-world survival game, it holds a Guinness World Record for this achievement. Producer Sami Maaranen stated that he has no plans to stop updating; every time he completes a feature, he always has more content he wants to add.
This update will introduce a new clothing crafting system. Crafting clothes requires both materials and time; more complex garments may take several days to complete, rather than being finished instantly after gathering the necessary materials.
In a screenshot shown by the developers, the character Heta attempts to trade for nine feet of linen cloth, offering a hunting bow, five arrows, and a hand axe, but the other party still refuses the deal. The developers explained that this amount of fabric is only enough to craft a single undershirt.
The developer also cited the example of socks: Heta has already spent several nights crafting a pair, and it will take a few more nights before they can be worn. According to the currently announced schedule, players will get access to this clothing crafting system in the October update.
