Global narrative game developer STORYTACO and 3Y Corporation announced that their popular interactive movie game "Axi, My Beautiful Roommate Is...? 2" will release new story expansion content—"Winter Trip DLC"—on Steam on October 2nd, with the mobile version launching on October 15th.
Since its launch, "Axi, My Beautiful Roommate Is...? 2" has not only garnered significant attention from players in South Korea but also received enthusiastic responses in overseas markets such as China, gradually becoming a representative interactive movie game IP under STORYTACO.
The newly released "Winter Trip DLC" is fresh expansion content created based on positive feedback from global players. Bang Guri, Yang Yujeong, and Lee Suji, three popular characters from Season 2, will be the core figures of this story.
Among them, Lee Suji appears in the main game as the doctor "Suji." Although she was not one of the main heroines in the original story, her character charm garnered popularity far beyond expectations, sparking considerable discussion among players.
The production team also noticed the players' affection for this character and decided to respond to their expectations by making Lee Suji one of the main heroines in the "Winter Trip DLC." Her promotion from a supporting role in the main story to a core character in the DLC, driven by genuine player feedback, has become a major highlight of this expansion.
In the "Winter Trip DLC," the protagonist Oh Yu-man, who runs a shared house, temporarily leaves his familiar daily life behind and embarks on a winter trip with Bang Guri, Yang Yujeong, and Lee Suji, unfolding a brand-new story.
Unlike many interactive movie games that favor summer, beaches, and vacation spots, this DLC moves the story stage to a snowy winter travel destination. Accompanied by winter scenes such as snowscapes, ski resorts, and mountain cabins, players will experience a travel atmosphere distinctly different from the main story, along with warmer and more delicate interactive stories.
Meanwhile, follow-up content for the "Axi Beautiful" series is already in the works.
STORYTACO and 3Y Corporation plan to reveal the Steam store page for "Axi, My Beautiful Roommate Is...? 3" this November, following the "Winter Trip DLC." Specific information regarding the character lineup and story content for Season 3 will be disclosed in subsequent updates.
From the "Winter Trip DLC" to "Axi Beautiful 3," the production team hopes to continue releasing new story content to further sustain the heat and anticipation for the "Axi Beautiful" series among global players.
A representative from STORYTACO stated:
"It is precisely because of the global players' continued support for the 'Axi Beautiful' series that we can continue telling the stories of these beloved characters. Especially Suji, who was widely loved by players in the main story, will return this time as one of the main heroines alongside Guri and Yujeong. We believe this will be a special surprise for players who have supported the series."
"Axi, My Beautiful Roommate Is...? 2: Winter Trip DLC" will launch on Steam on October 2nd and on mobile devices on October 7th. More information about "Axi, My Beautiful Roommate Is...? 3" will be revealed in the future.
