"Protect Her," developed by Gugu Studio, will launch its 1.0 version on October 12, ending Early Access. This update will add three new maps, 15 bosses, and expand tower defense tools and co-op content.
"Protect Her" is an extraction shooter with humorous and satirical elements, incorporating tower defense mechanics to hold back zombie hordes. During Early Access, the development team continuously expanded the game's content, including maps, minigames, and ways to combat zombies, all of which will be included in the 1.0 release.
Set in a zombie-infested world, players control a chicken, cooperating with other anthropomorphic animals to build bases, scavenge for supplies, and fend off waves of zombies. Scavenging and base defense form the core gameplay.
The game also features survival, crafting, and multiplayer co-op elements. Challenges gradually increase as you survive longer, with day-night cycles and weather changes affecting gameplay.
The 1.0 update includes 15 different bosses, three maps, and new tower defense structures and tools. The game is priced at $9.99 and will feature a launch discount.
