Developer Shift Up has today released a new trailer for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Stellar Blade: Complete Edition, unveiling the game's key visual for the first time. This major action-adventure title is scheduled to launch on Nintendo's new console in the second half of 2026, with the exact release date yet to be announced.

The trailer showcases the game's performance on the Switch 2. Beyond the core combat experience, officials confirmed that Joy-Con 2 motion controls will support certain activities within the game, offering players a more immersive interactive experience.
Stellar Blade: Complete Edition has previously launched on PS5 and PC. The Switch 2 version includes the following content:
· Base game
· Twin Expansion Pack: Includes collaboration content with NieR:Automata and Goddess of Victory: NIKKE
· Goddess of Victory: NIKKE collaboration outfit code: Redeemable for Stellar Blade-themed costumes in the mobile game
· Digital Deluxe Edition content: Includes multiple character outfits, drone skins, and in-game items
Stellar Blade is a post-apocalyptic action-adventure game. Players assume the role of EVE, an elite warrior from an off-world colony, tasked with returning to Earth—devastated by mysterious creatures known as the Naytiba—to reclaim their homeland. As the story unfolds, EVE gradually discovers that her mission is far more complex than it initially appears.
The game features a fast-paced and fluid combat system, allowing players to tackle challenging boss battles by upgrading skills, equipping gear, and building combat styles. In addition to Joy-Con 2 motion controls, the Switch 2 version also supports handheld mode for gaming on the go.
Earlier at the Summer Game Fest 2026, Shift Up announced that the sequel to Stellar Blade, titled Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, is currently in development, with the story focusing on a new protagonist, "Evie."
