Since its release, Five Hearts Under One Roof Season 2 has gained strong attention not only in Korea but also across global markets, including Greater Chinese regions, establishing itself as one of STORYTACO’s flagship FMV IPs. Winter Trip is a new follow-up story created in response to that global fan support, with Bbanggyul, Yu-jeong Yang, and Ssuzi taking center stage.
Ssuzi, in particular, drew unexpected attention from players after appearing in the main game as Dr. Suzy, despite not being one of the original main heroines. Reflecting this enthusiastic response, the production team selected Suzy as a lead heroine for Winter Trip. One of the key highlights of the DLC is that a character who won over players in the main story is now returning in a leading role thanks to fan support.
In Winter Trip, the protagonist, who has been running the boarding house, steps away from his everyday routine and sets off on a winter getaway with Bbanggyul, Yu-jeong Yang, and Ssuzi. Unlike many FMV titles that focus on summer settings or resort-style locations, this DLC puts snowy winter at the forefront, offering a warmer and more intimate romance against the backdrop of a snowy travel destination.
The expansion of the Five Hearts Under One Roof IP will continue beyond Winter Trip. STORYTACO and 3Y Corporation are also planning to open the Steam store page for Five Hearts Under One Roof Season 3 in November. More details on Season 3 will be revealed gradually at a later date. Through this continued rollout from Winter Trip to Season 3, the companies aim to maintain momentum and build anticipation among global fans.
“Thanks to the continued support from players around the world, we are able to continue the stories of characters that fans have loved,” a STORYTACO representative said. “With Ssuzi, who received so much affection in the main game, returning as a lead heroine alongside Bbanggyul and Yu-jeong Yang, we believe this DLC will offer something fresh and exciting for longtime fans.”
