The open-world action RPG Imota has launched its 1.1 update, adding cross-platform progression sharing, the first legendary creature, and weekly co-op challenges. The game released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series on September 16, with iOS and Android versions following on September 23; this update arrives less than two weeks after the PC and console launch.
The update brings mobile devices into the cross-platform progression system. Players can retain their game progress, resources, and captured creatures when switching between PC, consoles, and mobile phones. The development team has also adjusted the touch-screen interface, including controls for capturing and fusing creatures.
New content includes seasonal story quests and ways to obtain the first legendary creature, Irisalis. By crafting specific legendary capture items, players can achieve a 100% capture success rate, as well as gain perfect innate potential, shiny forms, and seasonal rewards.
Targeting higher-level players, version 1.1 adds high-difficulty egg-heist events. Participants must reach a specified level and hold a ticket; these events increase the chances of obtaining rare eggs and collectibles while imposing stricter extraction conditions.
Weekly co-op events support four-player teams or participation with AI teammates, featuring three routes, bosses, and environmental changes. Additionally, housing and camper van functions have received quality-of-life improvements, and the patch fixes various display, reconnection, and memory issues.
