The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered brings a series of upgrades and improvements to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and its two critically acclaimed expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Even players who previously owned only the base game can receive both expansions for free through this upgrade. For a full list of changes, please refer to the complete patch notes. Below are some of the key updates in the remastered version:

● Enhanced Visuals and Performance: Improved texture quality for environments, NPCs, and monsters, significantly enhanced vegetation effects, and readjusted lighting, rendering, and ray tracing effects.

● Path Tracing on PC: Combined with other visual enhancements in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered, path tracing technology delivers the best-looking Witcher 3 experience to date.

● PS5 Pro Support: Leveraging PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) technology, the game achieves a smooth 60 FPS experience with ray tracing enabled, delivering stunning visuals. In Performance Mode with VRR, frame rates can reach up to 90 FPS.

● Redesigned Skill System: Abilities and skills have been rebalanced, and the skill tree has been comprehensively adjusted to modernize the character progression system. This provides players with more flexible build options and ensures that different skills have a more significant impact on gameplay.

● Improved Combat System: Combat animations have been remade, with new finishers and adaptive camera angles added to make combat more fluid, immersive, and dynamic.

● Fully Upgraded Animations: Geralt and Roach feature new animations, bringing more dynamic movement and exploration. Actions such as vaulting over obstacles and climbing ladders have been completely updated for a smoother, more natural overall experience.

● Cross-Platform Mod Support: Console platforms now integrate Mod.io, allowing players to create and experience rich custom content through cross-platform mods. From new quests, weapons, and gear to balance adjustments, mods offer more possibilities for players to craft their unique Witcher 3 experience.

Gyro aiming further enhances precision in combat, while mouse controls provide an alternative way to play. Additionally, touch screen functionality can be used to browse the map and game menus, as well as to play Gwent.

The orchestral suite for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered, used in the launch trailer and recorded specifically for the remaster's release, has also been officially released. Arranged by CDPR's P.T. Adamczyk and performed by the Vienna Synchron Orchestra, this suite reimagines beloved music from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt into a majestic orchestral piece. The track and its music video are now available online.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered was developed through close collaboration between CDPR and the Yigsoft team. Players who already own The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S can upgrade for free. On the Switch 2 platform, all players who own The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the original Switch can upgrade for free. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered is now also available on Battle.net and launched on the Microsoft Store with Xbox Play Anywhere support.

On supported platforms, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered will replace the Complete Edition and includes the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions by default.
