The Witcher 3: Remastered Launches on PS5 with 40 Mods; Trophies Disabled When Enabled

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition is now available in most regions worldwide. If you didn't already know, this remastered version supports mods on PS5, allowing content created by PC players to be ported over.

However, using mods will disable trophies, but if you've played the game before, the new additions might be enough to warrant another playthrough.

So, the remastered version launched with over 40 mods available for download and installation. To be honest, that's not a huge number, and many of these mods only make minor tweaks to gameplay, such as removing fall damage or letting you automatically win at Gwent (which is downright cheap).

Many other mods are visual tweaks, such as improving Geralt's eyebrows (!), making gear appearances match their book descriptions more closely, and redesigning the character models for Ciri, Yennefer, and Triss.

Browsing through the current selection, I'm not sure if there's anything here that could be considered essential for improving the experience—but accessing the mod page is easy (just click the option on the main menu), and I'm confident more mods are on the way.
