The team advised affected players to update their graphics drivers, ensure sufficient storage space on their Windows devices, and verify virtual memory settings. The cause of the crashes, as well as the release date for a patch or estimated time for a fix, has not yet been announced.
At the time of writing, the game held a 72% positive user rating on Steam, with an overall assessment of "Mostly Positive." In addition to crashes, player feedback included poor integration for flight stick controllers.
Some players also noted that PC gamers wishing to experience Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War must download the entire new title, rather than using a standalone application. The development team's response this time focused primarily on the crash issues and did not provide solutions for joystick compatibility or methods to download legacy titles.
