Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled the gameplay trailer for Hemalurgy, the 54th hero in Overwatch. This new support hero will join the game with Season 5 on October 6, 2026. The trailer showcases her healing, offensive, and mobility abilities.
Hemalurgy is affiliated with Talon and has ties to Doomfist, wielding a scepter and bat-shaped drones in combat. Her core mechanics revolve around life force transfer and ability enhancement. Previously, Hemalurgy was available for a limited-time trial after being announced at BlizzCon 2026.
Her scepter's basic mid-range attack damages enemies and heals allies; when enhanced, it fires projectiles that pierce through targets. Hemalurgy's mobility skill reduces incoming damage and allows free flight when enhanced. Another mechanic empowers her next ability used.
When the healing drone is assigned to an ally, it restores their health and increases their attack speed; when enhanced, these effects also apply to Hemalurgy herself. Her ultimate ability releases a swarm of drones that reduce enemies' maximum health and deal damage, while granting additional health to allies.
