Recently, foreign media outlet GameSpot highlighted 11 new horror games set to release in October, including Hellraiser: Resurrection, End of the Abyss, Don't Panic, and Dark Dreams.
The lineup for October 1st includes End of the Abyss and Don't Panic. End of the Abyss, developed by creators who worked on Little Nightmares, is an isometric shooter set aboard a post-apocalyptic abandoned spaceship; Don't Panic lets players embody an anthropomorphic guitar exploring a music school that has turned eerie. On the 8th, the single-player narrative game Hellraiser: Resurrection launches, alongside Silver Pine Town, which revolves around 2D exploration, shadowy creatures, and small-town mysteries.
Dark Dreams, releasing on the 16th, blends retro 2D visuals with live-action footage. Blue Ridge Hunt, launching on the 20th, is a co-op horror game centered on mysterious creatures in the Appalachian region, planned for release via Steam Early Access.
Next up are Funtime on the 21st, followed by Mimicry and Night Shift on the 26th. Mimicry is an asymmetric social deduction game supporting up to 10 players, while Night Shift lets players take on the role of flight attendants.
Rounding out the month are The Nun's Legacy on the 27th and Ghost Ride on the 29th. These two titles are the final entries on this October list.
