Following the launch of its paid Early Access, Aion 2 Global topped the Steam bestseller chart. However, the server launch was delayed twice, leading to negative reviews from players who were unable to log in on time. NC plans to release this MMORPG globally on October 5; prior to this, the game has been operating in South Korea and Taiwan for nearly a year.
Aion 2 adopts a free-to-play model. Before the official global launch, players must purchase a Founder's Pack to access Early Access, with prices ranging from $24.99 to $99.99.
Early Access was originally scheduled to open at 13:00 UTC, but was subsequently delayed to 13:30 and then 14:00. The NC team is addressing the related issues. As services gradually stabilized, the number of online players increased; the concurrent player count recorded at the time of writing was 171,180.
