Recently, the National Press and Publication Administration released the approval information for game licenses in September 2026. A total of 209 games were approved in this batch, including 206 domestic games and 3 imported games.
The most anticipated title is miHoYo's UE5 realistic 3D action game, "Primordial Knot." This is miHoYo's first realistic multiplayer co-op game based on mythology, blending Western fantasy with the Eastern Classic of Mountains and Seas style. Players take on the role of "Weavers" to hunt down giant monsters known as "Dead Knots" in a world where gods have fallen.
The combat system introduces a "Divinity Skill" mechanism, allowing players to seize their opponents' divine power for their own use. Attack, defense, and support effects can be freely combined, enabling multiple strategies for the same boss battle.
It has been officially confirmed that characters are not obtained through gacha; all characters can be unlocked by playing continuously. Monetization will focus primarily on selling skins.
The game supports barrier-free free multiplayer teaming. Outside of combat, players can perform music together with friends or relax in hot springs. It will launch first on PC, with other platforms expected to follow in 2027.
Other notable approved games include Zulong Entertainment's "Lord of the Mysteries: The Fool," Kingnet's "Dragon Nest: Awakening," 4399's "Cross Fire: Breakout" and "Dream Block," Yoka Network's "Legends of the Three Kingdoms: Fate Chess," and Bad Honey Workshop's "Zhao Yun and Adou."
Among the domestic games, there are 110 mobile games, 75 casual puzzle mobile games, 2 client-based games, and 16 cross-platform games for both mobile and client.
The three imported games are Haojia Information's "3v3 Street Basketball," Kingnet's "Yulgang: Reboot," and Air Messenger's "Modern Tanks."
Additionally, information for 15 games has been updated. Lilith Games' "Rise of Kingdoms" has been renamed to "Dragons & Disputes," and "Dave the Diver" now includes a PS5 version.
