The remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will include an optional "Time Trail" feature. Players can check their next objective on the map, as well as review conversations with NPCs and completed quests.
The "Time Trail" also records how main and side objectives change across different locations. In addition to text entries, your adventures are presented as a visual tapestry that expands as you progress through the game.
The original game relied mainly on players remembering clues and figuring out their next steps. The remake provides a log for reference, although the current footage shows few map markers; players can also explore at their own pace without opening the Tapestry or quest log.
The features shown so far focus mainly on quests and character dialogue, with no indication that it will mark all collectibles. The remake is scheduled for release in November 2026.
