Game Freak has released the 1.011 update for Re:Legend, adding high-difficulty options and an auto-collect feature, while adjusting combat and fixing various issues. In one of the new difficulty tiers, the protagonist Emma dies from a single hit.
The newly added "VERY HARD" is more difficult than "HARD," while "Merciless" features a one-hit death rule. The "REINCARNATION+" mode now includes "HARD," "VERY HARD," and "Wasteless" options. The patch notes state that the previous difficulty of this mode corresponds to the current "NORMAL."
Combat adjustments involve certain bosses whose difficulty was previously too low, damage dealt to bosses by ranged weapons, and the attack power of several sword techniques, secret arts, and blooming skills. Some enemy attack patterns have also changed. Players can now enable auto-collect in the gameplay options within the settings menu to automatically pick up enemy drops and items in the environment.
This update fixes UI layout and skill tree display issues on ultra-wide screens, input anomalies when using both keyboard/mouse and controller simultaneously on PC, and loading problems when switching regions on Steam Deck. Equipment enhancement values and skill effect anomalies have also been addressed.
The patch also addresses issues such as missed attacks in certain boss fights, characters getting stuck in walls, and camera obstructions. It fixes instances where background music, voice lines, or sound effects cut off after certain events, and adjusts dialogue intervals and presentation pacing in event scenes.
