A Grand Theft Auto VI-themed mural has begun painting in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York. The vertical game logo in the center of the wall, along with the silhouettes of protagonists Jason and Lucia on either side, are already visible, though coloring is not yet complete.
The mural is located at the intersection of Wythe Avenue and North 11th Street. Photos of the initial construction phase were posted by a Reddit user. The image shows Jason and Lucia holding weapons, surrounded by palm trees. Since only the outlines of characters and patterns are currently visible, the final composition and finished look will need to be confirmed by subsequent photos.
Similar large-scale outdoor visuals previously appeared for Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto V, with some locations later becoming popular spots for players. Additionally, other stores have already displayed large posters for Grand Theft Auto VI, and related promotional materials have shown up in downtown Miami.
