The Pokémon Company announced that the physical bundle of Pokémon Legends: Z-A for Nintendo Switch 2 and the "Super Dimension" DLC will be released on October 29, 2026. This Switch 2 game card can also be inserted into the original Nintendo Switch, but it will run according to the performance capabilities of the older console. Compatibility with both generations of consoles does not mean the original Switch will achieve the same performance as the Switch 2.
The Pokémon Company also hinted that the Switch 2 version will include additional features and playable content, though specific details have not yet been announced. Players who purchase the Switch 2 version will receive a code to redeem 100 Ultra Balls.
