Remedy Entertainment has rolled out version 1.4 of the patch for Control: Resonance across all platforms. The update adds "New Game++," allowing players to start new playthroughs repeatedly, and reduces combat volume or intensity in unknown areas by approximately 10% to 15%. The version number displayed on PS5 is 1.400, while on Xbox Series it is 1.4.0.0.
The Build Power value is now displayed directly in the bottom-left corner of the loadout screen, along with notifications indicating whether there are new items available for purchase or upgrade at The Gap. After locking in materials needed for a specific upgrade, players can also determine if merchants sell those materials by checking the merchant icons on the map.
Assist Mode now includes options to set the Power Core charge duration multiplier from 100% to 300%. Audio settings have been updated with independent volume control for radio dialogue and an option to disable copyrighted music. The patch also fixes issues with certain dialogues, subtitles, and audio-video synchronization.
In terms of performance and stability, the update includes optimizations for lower-spec PCs, crash fixes across all platforms, and corrections for certain HDR display issues. Multiple fixes have also been made to mission progression, map markers, enemy behavior, controller connectivity, and graphics settings.
