HypeTrain Digital and Explosive Squat Games have released Intravenous 3: Edge for free on Steam. This prologue to Intravenous 3 includes two full missions, allowing players to experience the core systems of the main game ahead of time.
The game features a top-down perspective, blending stealth with gunfights. In the prologue, players take on the role of Gideon, a mercenary who has lost Everythinggj and is bent on revenge. He can use darkness, sound, distractions, gadgets, and the environment to deal with enemies. Different tools and environmental factors provide multiple ways to complete objectives.
The main story of Intravenous 3 revolves around Steve and Sean. Trapped in enemy territory and hunted down, they must rely on their adaptability to survive. Gideon from the prologue and the two characters introduced in the main story synopsis each drive separate narrative threads.
