There is no doubt that "GTA 6" is destined to become a phenomenal success in the gaming industry. It is widely expected to break numerous sales records, leaving competitors far behind. Recently, former PlayStation executive Shuhei Yoshida commented that only future entries in the GTA series are likely to surpass its achievements.
In a recent podcast episode, the host asked former PlayStation executive Shuhei Yoshida whether another game could ever emerge with popularity and market appeal comparable to "GTA 6".
Shuhei Yoshida stated that, given how GTA has grown into an IP of immense scale, perhaps only "GTA 7" will be able to achieve similar levels of hype in the future. "In fifteen years, maybe when 'GTA 7' is released, we'll see. Let's wait and see!"
Shuhei Yoshida also discussed another possibility: that Chinese games may one day reach heights comparable to "GTA 6". Titles like "Black MYTH - Steam Edition: Wukong" have already demonstrated the strength of the Chinese gaming market to the world, and he believes the potential of this market should not be underestimated.
As for just how spectacular "GTA 6"'s performance will be, we'll have to wait until its official release to find out. Industry estimates suggest the title could easily generate billions of dollars in revenue, setting new highs for the entire industry.
