Game Pass to Remove Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Other Premium Titles

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one of the best games of 2025 and one of the highest-quality third-party titles to launch day-one on Game Pass. Players have had over a year to complete this turn-based RPG, but subscribers who haven't started yet should hurry, as this Game Award winner will leave the Game Pass library on October 15.

Game Pass即将下架《光与影:33号远征队》等多款精品游戏

In other words, you have less than two weeks to finish the story or start your adventure from scratch. A speedrun of the main story takes under 30 hours, but if you want to experience all the expanded content and achieve 100% completion, it will take more than twice as long as the main campaign. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a rare JRPG-style work in recent years that has successfully reached a wider audience, partly thanks to its innovative dodge and parry mechanics, which inject new vitality into the repetitive gameplay of traditional turn-based systems. Additionally, the game's twist ending is excellent and worth playing through to the end.

However, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 isn't the only great title leaving Game Pass this month. Here is the full list:

The Casting of Frank Stone

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Crime Scene Cleaner

Donut County

Evil West

Super Pinball

New Rome (Early Access)

Supernatural Caravan

A Plague Tale: Requiem

Both Supernatural Caravan and A Plague Tale: Requiem are high-quality titles, perfect for this spooky month. The former is a sci-fi survival crafting game where players drive a haunted RV through an area filled with eerie phenomena. The latter is set in late medieval Europe during the plague, where players must struggle to survive amidst rats carrying the disease. Meanwhile, Donut County is a relaxing puzzle game that can be completed in just a few hours, and it remains one of my favorite indie games of all time.
