Recent leaks suggest that the Bad Company squad may return in Season 5 of Battlefield 6, embarking on a covert mission to Area 51. This information has not yet been confirmed by EA or DICE.
The leak mentions the squad infiltrating Area 51 for a mission. As a result, Area 51 is speculated to potentially become a new setting in the game, but there are no reports indicating it has been officially announced as a map; the character returns and mission details remain rumors.
The Bad Company spin-off is known for its humorous tone, squad interactions, and story-driven campaign. Key characters include Redford, Sweetwater, Haggard, and Preston Marlowe. The latest major entry in this sub-series, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, was released in 2010.
Previously, the performance of Battlefield 2042 sparked discussions among some players hoping for the return of classic series elements. Whether the Bad Company squad will appear in Season 5 and whether Area 51 will be included in the game still awaits official announcement from EA or DICE.
