Recently, the fan PC port project for "Silent Hill P.T." released new gameplay footage. The porting work is currently about 97% complete, and the version shown in the video can be played from start to finish and run directly on PC without the need for a PS4 emulator.
Demo Video:
"Silent Hill P.T." is related to Hideo Kojima's later canceled "Silent Hill" project. More than a decade after the project's cancellation, players still look back on this horror game demo. Fan-made native PC ports provide another possibility for continuing to experience and preserve it.
The currently showcased version can reach 60 frames per second; the original PS4 version was capped at 30 frames per second. The developers also plan to add FSR, DLSS, various controller input methods, as well as mouse and keyboard support in the full release, though these features are still part of future plans.
The project has not yet announced a completion date for the full version. Although the showcased version can be played from start to finish, the porting work is not yet officially complete.
