Recently, foreign media outlet Dsogaming discovered that the Steam store page for Tomb Raider: The Lost Legacy has removed the Denuvo DRM label. Although the page information has changed, it remains uncertain whether the game will use Denuvo.
This change could mean that Amazon Games has decided not to use the technology in this title, or it might simply be a page update error. Previously, other games have removed Denuvo information from their Steam pages only to add it back later. Therefore, based solely on this page adjustment, we cannot conclude that Denuvo has been canceled for this game.
Tomb Raider: The Lost Legacy is a remake and reimagining of the original Tomb Raider, developed using Unreal Engine 5. Players will assume the role of Lara Croft, traveling to the Peruvian jungle, ancient Greek ruins, the Egyptian desert, and a mysterious island in the Mediterranean to explore locations, deal with traps and animals, and search for scattered Scarab fragments. The game is scheduled for release on February 12, 2027.
