Disney officially released the first official still from the new "Ice Age" installment, "Ice Age: Boiling Point," following the D23 event, marking the franchise's return to the big screen after many years.
The still features familiar faces from the series, including Sid the Sloth, Manny the Mammoth, and Diego the Saber-toothed Tiger, evoking memories for countless fans. While plot details remain under wraps, the title "Ice Age: Boiling Point" suggests that this prehistoric adventure team will face a brand-new threat—Disney has yet to reveal further specifics.
"Ice Age: Boiling Point" will be the first mainline film in the series since "Ice Age: Collision Course" in 2016. In the intervening years, the IP has primarily sustained its presence through spin-offs and streaming projects.
The film is scheduled for release in North America on February 5, 2027.
