Characters featured in the trailer include Black Widow, Wolverine, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange. What we can see remains preliminary content from the leaked video, as the game's final gameplay has not been officially announced yet.
Reportedly, "Project Comet" is a free-to-play action RPG mobile game centered on Marvel heroes and villains, launching on PC, iOS, and Android with cross-platform play support. A closed beta test was held this June.
Players who participated in the beta described it as a gacha game in the style of "Genshin Impact" or "Wuthering Waves," combining real-time combat with team-based mission modes akin to "Marvel Ultimate Alliance."
Gameplay: It features manual controls rather than auto-pathing. With an on-screen joystick and skill buttons, each hero possesses multiple skills and one ultimate ability. Missions are designed for four-player co-op squads and can be replayed on higher difficulties for better rewards. Environments showcased so far include neon-lit city blocks and more fantasy-styled fortresses.
