Simu Liu shared on The Tonight Show, "My fiancée works in the music industry and has been a Taylor Swift fan since she was little. Taylor Swift's music played an important role in the early stages of our relationship. I got to know my fiancée through her songs and understood why they meant so much to her."

I reached out to her through Taylor's publicist and said, 'Hey, can I convince you to record a two-second video just to congratulate us?' She sent it over two days later, and I showed it to my fiancée. So, Taylor Swift really was the cherry on top!"
