The official website for "Baki Dou: The Invincible Samurai" has unveiled a new ukiyo-e-style visual illustration by artist KOJIMAN, depicting the battle between Baki and Miyamoto Musashi. This image is being used to promote the anime's broadcast in Japan; the series is currently available to watch on Netflix.
This sequel to the "Baki" series will release its first part in February 2026, followed by the second part in June of the same year. The newly revealed artwork promotes the series. The story continues from "Hanma Baki": bored by the lack of strong opponents, Baki encounters Miyamoto Musashi, who was cloned and brought to the modern era, where he continuously challenges fighters before finally crossing paths with Baki.
The anime adaptation covers content from 22 volumes of the manga. While the main storyline has reached a relatively complete conclusion, the pacing and cuts have sparked controversy. The franchise also includes the previously confirmed isekai spin-off anime, "Baki Gaiden: Retsu Kaioh Reincarnated in Another World." This new visual corresponds to "Baki Dou: The Invincible Samurai."
