Unofficial Browser-Based GTA V Project Encounters Errors During Missions

An unofficial project allowing GTA V to run in a browser tab has appeared online. Some users have successfully loaded the game and begun gameplay, but errors occur during missions, indicating unstable performance.

One user reported accessing Franklin's first mission, driving through the opening sequence before the game crashed with an error, accompanied by graphical glitches. This indicates that testers have accessed mission content, but it does not confirm that the project can run stably over time.

Feedback varies across different devices and browsers: some users were unable to complete loading in Firefox, while there are reports of successful launches on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. A Linux user noted that the browser consumed approximately 4.5GB of RAM during operation. There are also reports of launches on Chrome for mobile, though some Android devices only display a black screen.

The project developers have not yet provided a public source code repository or detailed technical documentation. The associated domain was registered on October 3, 2026. This website has no official affiliation with Rockstar Games; while it is confirmed that some users have accessed missions, there is no guarantee that it will function properly across different browsers or devices.
