G.E.M.'s "I AM GLORIA" World Tour concluded its 182nd performance at the Shenzhen Universiade Sports Centre Stadium on October 5, marking the end of a nearly three-year tour. A Guinness World Records adjudicator presented the certificate on-site that evening, confirming that she set the record for "Most stadium shows on a single concert tour by a solo artist" with 170 stadium-specific shows during this tour.
182 shows was the total number of performances on this tour; 170 was the number of stadium-specific shows that received record certification.
On October 4, the night before the finale, Shenzhen experienced heavy rainfall lasting about three hours during the second-to-last show. During her performance, G.E.M.'s in-ear monitors malfunctioned, and her microphone was damaged by the rain and had to be replaced. Her contact lenses were also displaced by the rain, so she took off her glasses and continued performing. She joked on stage about "taking a shower" and sang "Sleeping Princess" a cappella in the rain.
During the wait for the encore, a small fire broke out on one side of the venue's large screen. Staff handled it promptly, and the overall performance was unaffected. The audience stayed in their raincoats until the end of the show.
