Nolan North, who has long portrayed Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series, expressed his willingness to return for a new installment, though he hasn't heard any news about one yet. Recently, during a Q&A session with Gamergy PR, he was asked about this and responded that he is "110% willing," reiterating that he would accept an invitation.
Nolan North stated that he will continue to stay in shape, just in case there's an opportunity to reprise the role of Drake in the future. The past decade of working with friends and the development team has meant a great deal to him, and he can't think of any reason to turn down a return. He believes that if Sony decides to release a new title, it would likely be a large-scale game that draws significant attention.
Despite recent rumors suggesting that Naughty Dog.exe might return to the Uncharted series, North has clearly stated that he has not heard any news about a new project. His willingness to return does not confirm that such a project is currently in development.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End provided a conclusion to Drake's story while leaving open the possibility for his daughter, Cassie, to take up the mantle in the future. Naughty Dog.exe subsequently released Uncharted: The Lost Legacy in 2017, featuring Chloe and Nadine as the protagonists. If the series sees another release, whether Drake will remain the main character or if North will be involved remains unconfirmed, with no official announcements made so far.
