IllFonic has announced the first batch of post-launch content for Halloween: The Game, scheduled for release on October 27. All players can freely explore the new map "Tower Farm," while paid character skins and other content will also be launched simultaneously. The new map is inspired by Halloween 5, replacing the original suburban residential setting with farmhouses, barns, and fields.
The gas station at Tower Farm helps civilians orient themselves, while open roads and cornfields make movement and hiding risky. Farm tools, hay bales, roadside ditches, and shrubs provide new spaces for chases and hiding; Harvest Festival, trailer camps, and pumpkin patches also appear on the map. Changes to buildings and terrain will alter movement routes in 1v4 matches.
Paid content includes two Michael Myers skins, based on his looks from the fifth film and the 2018 movie, each priced at $9.99. The mask design for the 2018 movie skin was supervised by Christopher Nelson, who worked on the masks for that film. Two new civilians, Michelle and Eugene, are bundled together for $9.99; the civilian costume pack, containing 14 outfits, is also priced at $9.99.
This update also includes free gameplay adjustments, bug fixes, and experience improvements. The development team stated that this is just the first batch of a series of follow-up updates planned for the game's first year, with more free and paid content scheduled to be released alongside each seasonal phase.
