According to the leaker, the DLC is being developed by M-Two and K2. Both teams previously worked on the "Separate Ways" additional content for Resident Evil 4 Remake. The project was reportedly initially a shorter story chapter but later received an expanded budget and production scale, potentially resulting in a playtime of 4 to 6 hours.

Regarding the story, the leak suggests the DLC will take players back to the Spencer Mansion in the Arklay Mountains. The related scenes were reportedly originally intended for the main story of Resident Evil 9: Requiem but were cut and reworked into a standalone narrative.

The leaks also mention remake plans for Resident Evil: Code Veronica and Resident Evil 1. Dusk Golem stated that the Spencer Mansion will appear in the RE1 remake, prompting the team to share more detailed scene designs between the two projects. Details regarding the aforementioned DLC and remake plans remain unconfirmed.
