Former GTA 6 Designer Claims He Proposed a Pet Tiger Mission, Adoption Status Unknown

Recently, former Rockstar Games designer Jérémy Hartvick recalled that he had proposed a mission concept involving a "pet tiger" during the development of GTA 6. It remains unclear whether this proposal was ultimately adopted.

In an interview with Kiwi Talkz, Hartvick discussed the mission proposal process at the time: team members were free to submit ideas and describe what they wanted to see in the game. The staff responsible for filtering missions would then determine whether a proposal was suitable for the main story, should be adapted into a side quest, or rejected. When he proposed the pet tiger mission, the main storyline was still being gradually structured, leaving room for adjustments to mission concepts.

Hartvick did not disclose the specific details of the mission or how players would engage with it, nor did he confirm that it was fully developed or included in the final version. He stated that if missions featuring pet tigers, pet jaguars, or similar concepts appear in the game, they may have originated from his proposal.
