The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's 11-Year Review Journey Reviewed; Remake Averages 90-94 Across Four Platforms

Radek Grabowski, Global PR Director at CD Projekt RED, shared the media average scores for various versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt over its 11 years since release. The 2026 remastered edition currently holds average scores of 93, 94, 90, and 92 on PC, Xbox Series X, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2, respectively. With only 5 to 12 reviews per platform so far, these averages are still subject to change.

For comparison, the original 2015 release received average scores of 93, 92, and 91 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, respectively. The subsequent Complete Edition scored 94 on both PS5 and Xbox Series X, while the Nintendo Switch version received an 85.

Grabowski used these figures to reflect on the game's journey across multiple platforms and versions, thanking players who are still enjoying it. The newly announced remastered edition's scores represent early data, with review counts remaining limited across all platforms.
